Absolute positions of the 1612-MHz OH maser emission from 26 Type II OH/IR stars have been determined with the Very Large Array to an estimated positional accuracy of + or - 4 arcsec. Combined with earlier work, the results provide radio positions with errors less than 15 arcsec for all known OH/IR stars between galactic longitudes of 10 deg and 27(deg).5 with flux densities larger than 1.7 Jy.
