The authors find that helium nuclei accreting onto magnetized neutron
stars in strong X-ray sources can emit cyclotron radiation. In the case
of the X-ray source 4U 0115+63, the He cyclotron line at 6 eV in the
ultraviolet should be observable with the IUE satellite.
