Description of a method of determining the times of occultation of stars by the moon with the aid of photoelectric photometers. The proposed method is distinguished by the fact that, in order to achieve improved accuracy, observations of artificial eclipses are made before and after the occultation by the moon with the aid of a glow lamp which is quenched by a pulse from a quartz clock.
