The volume filling factors in the Galactic disk of H II, H I, H2 and dust are studied. The filling factors of ionized and molecular clouds as a function of mean cloud density follow similar power laws, suggesting that the two phases have similar structure. The size distributions of the clouds of H II and H2 as well as their mass distributions also have similar slopes, and are in agreement with fractional Brownian motion structure.
