The method to apply the carrier phase measurement to the frequency
comparisons, the probable problems and the accuracy which can be reached
with this method are discussed. Some experiments of frequency measure
have been conducted using the carrier phase of the GPS instead of the
code which is used in current GPS time transfer system.
