Solar Activity: Solar Irradiance

Scientific paper

Using the data of solar total radiation measured by Sheshan Observatory from 1932 - 1943 and 1949 - 1958 as well as by Nanjing Meteorological Observational Station from 1970 - 1994, the regularities of the variation of these data have been investigated. Comparing the data of solar total radiation with the data of solar proton events, the authors found that the relativity between them is existential, and there are different relations during different phases of solar cycle.
