To test the photon-neutrino coupling theory of weak interactions as presented by Bandyopadhyay (1968), detailed models of the Main Sequence stars with neutrino emission based on this theory are computed. The models are compared with the observational data, and it is concluded that the photon-neutrino coupling theory would seem to be definitely excluded on astrophysical grounds.
