Repeated HST/STIS observations of eta Carinae and its ejecta have
produced a large spectroscopic data set which is a unique resource for
the astrophysics of massive stars, ejecta, and related topics. Here we
report the existence of this data set and mention some implications
concerning the star, spatially resolved from its bright diffuse ejecta.
