An algorithm for determining the propagation parameters of electromagnetic disturbances from observations made at a single point is developed. The electromagnetic field is considered in the form of a plane, nonhomogeneous surface wave. The algorithm permits the investigation of irregularities in the spatial structure of the electromagnetic field by comparison of the orientations of the real and imaginary portions of the wave vector. The algorithm is applied to analyze a series of observed 'bead-type' fluctuations of the electromagnetic field.
