The paper presents a polarimetric map of the eastern half of the lunar disk in the 0.40-micron spectral region. The process of constructing the map is described in detail, and it is noted that the map can be used to determine the degree of polarization of an arbitrary surface detail with an accuracy of 3%. It is shown that the relationship between polarization (p) and albedo (rho) is linear only in the coordinates lg rho, p.
