Part III demonstrates that it is extremely unlikely that the observed concentration of nearby groups of galaxies within 10 degrees, 20 degrees, or 30 degrees from the same great circle (supergalactic equator) in both galactic hemispheres could arise by chance in a random distribution of cluster centers. The variations of the supergalactic concentration index are tabulated as a function of magnitude and of supergalactic latitude and longitude. Part IV demonstrates that nearby clouds of galaxies tend to be elongated in directions roughly parallel to the supergalactic plane.
