The aim of this paper is to calculate velocity fields for our stellar system in order to understand the north-south asymmetry of the rotation curves. To do this, model calculations were performed assuming that the velocity field is disturbed by the spiral arms and the Magellanic Clouds. These calculations were done in the framework of a two-dimensional hydrodynamical model by ignoring magnetic fields and applying the cold disk approximation. The Magellanic Clouds are revolving about the Galaxy in circular orbits. In our model, these calculations show that the difference between the galactic rotation curves for the northern and southern side of our stellar system is the result of tidal action of the Magellanic Clouds.
