Millisecond Pulsars: X-Ray Pulsars, Millisecond Pulsars: X-Ray Luminosities
Scientific paper
The author discovered the non-thermal X-ray pulsation from the millisecond pulsar PSR B1821-24. Comparing the luminosity to that of ordinary high-field pulsars, he found the possible relation that X-ray pulsed luminosity is proportional to the 3/2 power of rotation energy loss. The author considers the relation can be explained by a scaling law working in the spatial structure of pulsars' magnetosphere.
