Following the report by A. Szostek etal. (2011) (ATel #3333) of a Gamma Ray flare of 4C +38.41, detected by Fermi/LAT. We observed a NIR brightening of the flat spectrum radio source (+4C38.41) FBQSJ163515.4+380804 a high redshift blazar (z=1.813). On May 10th, 2011, epochs JD2455691.881888 and JD2455691.922641, we determine the flux in the H band to be 13.704 ± 0.05 and 13.550 ± 0.05 respectively.
