Observations of the region near the X-ray source LMC X-1 have been made
using the Parkes 64-m radio telescope at 2-cm wavelength. It is
concluded that as in the case of 4U 1642-45 the X-ray source LMX X-1 is
offset from the center of the H II region with which it is associated.
