The dynamic, thermal, and chemical evolution of gas clouds enriched with heavy elements and having an initial temperature of about 10,000 K is investigated. The universal mechanism of the cloud cooling by molecular hydrogen and of the formation of the cool central part of the star forming region is shown to exist irrespectively of the gas chemical composition. The star forming region parameters are obtained and observational consequences of the developed models are discussed.
