The analysis deals with the problem of achieving a linear orbital correction for rendezvous and docking purposes, using a prescribed number of impulses. The control includes determination of the motion parameters from processed measurement data, the calculation of the correction parameters, and its implementation. Losses resulting from correction of random errors are taken into consideration. A universal algorithm for solving the problem by a modification of the simplex method is constructed for near-circular orbits.
