The paper examines whether high-velocity clouds of neutral hydrogen can condense from a hot dynamic corona above the plane of the Galaxy. A model is developed for the trajectories of clouds which matches all observational velocity features of the HVC. Further, the position for the formation of clouds is deduced, and the dynamics of a hot corona of cosmic abundance are investigated, as well as the condensation of clouds within it. Finally, the hydrodynamics of coronal gas are combined with the appearance of HVC on the sky.
