Radio emission was found in two (Arp 118 and Arp 148) of 27 ring-type galaxies searched with the NRAO interferometer to a detection limit of about 10 mJy at 11.1 cm. These two were also observed at 6 cm with the higher sensitivity and resolution of the VLA. To allow a comparison of radio and optical features, optical positions and diameters were measured on the Palomar Sky Survey prints for 24 rings. Arp 148 contains a nonthermal, unresolved source near the centroid of the spindle. Arp 118 has three radio peaks coincident with optical emission knots located along an arc, as might result from the ring-shaped density wave model suggested for the case of II Hz 4 by Lynds and Toomre (1976). Three additional rings with detections cited in the literature are discussed (Arp 143, Arp 142, II Zw 188). There seems to be a tendency for the more irregular appearing galaxies to be radio sources.
