Compact radio quasars are divided into two kinds on the basis of VLBI data. One kind has not been resolved; another has been resolved. Regression analysis is used to make the apparent magnitude-redshift's statistical analysis of quasars of two kinds, assuming that the redshifts are cosmological and that the distance is given by the Hubble law. In the first kind, these quantities are not correlative, but in the second kind, they are correlative. The redshifts of the second kind's quasars may result from the expansion of the components of a compact source.
