The Type IIP Supernovae 2008ij (CBET #1626,#1627), in the galaxy NGC 6643, has been the subject of VLA searches on 2009 Jan 27.4 (UT) (ATEL #1915) and 2009 January 29.5. The second VLA search was conducted at 1.425 GHz. No radio emission was detected at the supernova location with a 3-sigma upper limit of 0.18 mJy and a resolution of 4.9". Swift X-ray observations indicate that X-ray flux from SN 2008ij is relatively weak and is declining (ATEL #1918).
