We present a model where X/gamma-rays from accreting black holes are produced in a number of small (of order of gravitational radius, Rg) flares within 30 Rg from the black hole. The characteristic time scales of the flares are approximately equal to Keplerian time scales at distances between 3 and 30 Rg. Each spontaneous flare can trigger other flares in its vicinity producing sometimes long avalanches. Characteristic time scales of the avalanches are of order 0.1-1 sec. Most of the power in the power density spectrum comes out on these time scales. The time delays between hard and soft photons are produced due to the spectral evolution during the flare. We show that the model is able to reproduce time integrated energy spectra, power density spectra, time lags and coherence function of Cygnus X-1 simultaneously.
