Galaxies: Quasars: Emission Lines

Scientific paper

Using the three image technique we have surveyed some regions far from the galactic equator in a search for white dwarf stars or very blue or ultraviolet objects. As a by product, we have found some extremely blue extended objects. We present a preliminary list of 10 galaxies with a strong ultraviolet color and emission line in their spectra, and 17 nebular object with strong violet color.
