New data have been obtained indicating the reality of the concentration of cometary perihelia close to ecliptic longitude lambda = 270 deg. Comets with orbit major semiaxes in the range 100 less than alpha and less than 500 A.U. show an unusually high concentration of perihelia near this longitude. The fate of material ejected from a planet or its satellite is considered when the ejection velocity is described by a normal distribution law. It is found as a preliminary result that the overwhelming majority of the comets ejected by a satellite should revolve about the planet itself. Moreover, it is established that for practically all parabolic orbits, the inequality n(+)/n(-) is greater than 4.3, should be obeyed, where n(+) and n(-) are the numbers of comets with forward and retrograde motion.
