The companion to HD 152667 is a black hole candidate. Good phase coverage coude observations in the red have been obtained to investigate mass transfer and mass loss as diagnosed by the behavior of H-alpha. There are two emission features at H-alpha, one of which is probably formed in the outer envelope of the B0 Ia primary, and the other in gas escaping from the system.
