We present a program to coordinate observations of the 1999 Leonids meteor shower by high school students across the great state of Texas. We are part of an international effort based on the highly successful observating campaign of the 1998 Leonids, organized by B. Suzuki for Japanese high schools. This ambitious project is designed for world-wide coverage in 1999. A WWW site is maintained giving detailed instructions for visual and photographic observations by the high school students and for collecting student reports for further analyses. Students will assist in reduction and analysis of their data. If warranted, the results will be presented at an upcoming national astronomical meeting.
