Box orbits in triaxial potentials are generically thin, that is, they lie close in phase space to a resonant orbit satisfying a relation lomega_1 +momega_2 +nomega_3 =0 between the three fundamental frequencies. The thickness of an orbit is limited by the condition that it avoid the destabilizing center of the potential; orbits that violate this condition are stochastic. The properties of thin box orbits in a family of triaxial potentials are discussed.
