The propagation of adiabatic MHD waves in a conductive isothermal atmosphere in the presence of a horizontal magnetic field and gravity is considered. It is shown that the oscillations may be trapped in the middle layer of a three-layer atmosphere with temperatures T1 > T2 > T3 for discrete frequencies. In the presence of a horizontal magnetic field the solar chromospheric trapped waves have periods in the range of 250 - 2730 s.
