AB Dor (K1 V-IV) has been observed 14 times with the XMM-Newton and Chandra X-ray observatories in the last 3 years totaling 570 ks. High and low-resolution spectra are employed to determine the Emission Measure Distribution electron densities at different temperatures and elements abundances. Long and short term variability is used to analyze the activity and flaring behavior. Interpretation of these results will be discussed.
