The southern, early type detached eclipsing binary GL Car, a well-known case of fast apsidal motion, was observed in the Stromgren uvby system. The uvby light curves are presented. Typical rms errors of one magnitude difference are 0.005 (vby) and 0.007 (u). Due to the fast apsidal motion, the data cannot be used for a photometric analysis, unless the method used can take into account the variation with time of periastron position.
