In this paper, UBV photographic photometry complete to V of aobut 17 is reported in an effort to obtain evidence of a Galactic warp in the sense of significant numbers of distant OB star candidates in this direction. The results are found to be negative. Evidence is found only for large numbers of late-type field stars with reddenings consistent with the 'local' reddening determined by Burns et al. (1984).
