Dynamics of the scalar inflation field and the universe reheating after inflation scenario are investigated. Potentials of the power shape with arbitrary power index are considered as those of the scalar field. It is shown that after inflation the scalar field exhibits quasi-periodic motion and the universe is expending according to the power law. At this stage the effective equation of state is determined by the power index of the scalar field effective potential. Particle generation processes in the presence of the quickly oscillating inflation field are considered. The universe reheating temperature is estimated for some concrete cases of the Lagrangian of the inflation field interaction with other fields.
