A method is presented for determining the photometric elements of the Wolf-Rayet star in V444 Cyg. Observational data for the 4244-A continuum are combined with a direct method of solving the problem, which involves choosing all parameters and functions from the condition of the light curve minimum that allows determination of the expected photometric elements and their errors. It is found that the WR star is a helium star at the final stage of evolution after the main sequence.
