The continuous absorption coefficient of the free-free transitions of 17
atomic and molecular negative ions are reported for the temperature and
wavelength ranges from 100 to 15,000 K and from 0.5 to 10 microns,
respectively. An analytical expression is given for some molecular
negative ions of astrophysical interest.
