A formula derived by Woyk (1974) for the group and phase trajectory of a radio wave propagating in a quasi-parabolic spherically laminated ionized medium is analyzed. Together with a table of the trajectory parameters, compiled by Woyk, the formula allows to study the behavior of radio waves between two points within or beyond the ionosphere. Six trajectories of different type are identified. It is shown that using two of these trajectories, a radio link over any distance can be established between two satellites moving away from each other.-
