Three cases where quasars fall close to large galaxies on the plane of the sky are investigated. In all three cases, disturbances in the inner isophotes of the galaxies are found. In all cases, the isophotal disturbances are extended fairly closely in the direction of the quasar and could be interpreted as due to an event that occurred in the galaxy at a time of the order of 10 million years previously.
