The close approach of the minor planet 433 Eros provided an opportunity
to obtain the first known position of a minor planet with a photographic
zenith tube (PZT). Its position with respect to the PZT catalog was
determined to within 0.2 sec in declination and within 0.020 sec in
right ascension.
