The present study proposes supersonic noncentral collision and coalescence of interstellar matter as a physical process that could lead to the formation of a solar nebula with an appropriate distribution of the spin angular momentum. An idealized chain of events is outlined which may make possible a relevant distribution of the angular momentum due to the very process of the nebula formation, but not internal distribution of it.
