This presentation reports the Chandra Observatory METG/HETG observaton of the X-ray bright Seyfert 1 galaxy IC 4329a. The main goal of the observation was to resolve the Fe K line into its narrow component, presumably arising via fluorescence from material relatively distant from the nucleus, and a broad component, arising from material much more closer to the nucleus. These data should also provide sensitive diagnostics of the ionized circumnuclear material surrounding the AGN, detected with previous ROSAT and Asca data.
