We use our H-f and 21-cm observations of the dwarf Irr galaxy IC
1613 to analyze the relationship between stars and the ISM in the area
of a recent burst of star formation in the galaxy. We trace several
possible loci of favorable conditions for star formation triggered by
collisions of shells and supershells.
