Scheduled ISAS and NASA missions for infrared and submillimeter
astronomy studies planned for around 2000 are briefly discussed. A
proposed submillimeter and/or infrared mission to be launched around
2000 with a reflector about 1-2 m in diameter and cooled down to 50-150
K is briefly examined.
