A systematic method of investigating the dynamics of homogeneous multidimensional cosmological models is presented, based on the full classification of homogeneous multidimensional Kaluza-Klein models. The investigation of dynamics is reduced to the investigation of multidimensional dynamical systems; then general conclusions are drawn about chaotic behavior and genericity of homogeneous multidimensional cosmological models.
