The Zeeman splitting due to a longitudinal magnetic field on some transitions of diatomic molecules observed in the interstellar clouds are calculated. Only CN and SO exhibit effects comparable to that of OH. Their observability in the mm range is discussed. In the same wavelength range, O2 would exhibit Zeeman effects even larger than that of OH, but must be observed from space radiotelescopes.
