We present the results of optical monitoring of the blazar 2007 + 777 on
the 60-cm Zeiss-600 reflector of the Special Astrophysical Observatory
of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Light curves in the B and V bands
obtained from August 8, 2000, through May 25, 2001, reveal variability
with characteristic time scales from 10 to 40 days.
