Curtain shutter location has an effect on nodal camera performance; with
large aperture and long focal length, the relative deviation of exposure
is directly proportional to the distance between the shutter slit and
the film. This will result in a degradation of imaging quality, an
increase in distortion, and changes in the character of the exposure.
