A study has been made of the sensitivity of observations of the elemental abundances of those nuclei just heavier than 28Ni to assumptions concerning propagation and source abundances. Calculations of the propagation of elements with 42>=Z>=27 have been based on various models for the source abundances. These calculations have compared the predicted elemental ratios at a typical energy in order to look for significant discriminators between the various sources. .
