Prior to the launch of ACE, 3He/4He ratios in 3He-rich solar energetic particle (SEP) events were typically reported at 10% or higher only from above a few MeV per nucleon because of limited instrument capabilities. However, with the new ULEIS instrument on ACE, we are able to explore the 3He/4He ratio below the 10% level and also at energy less than 1 MeV per nucleon. We have investigated a total of 45 3He-rich (3He/4He>0.01 at 0.23-0.45 MeV per nucleon) SEP events from November 1997 to May 1999. We found the event average 3He/4He and Fe/C ratios are clearly correlated. This correlation suggests that the 3He and Fe enrichments could be related and places further constraints on any 3He-enhancement models. .
