A model which accounts for the polarization of SN 1987A radiation by the asymmetry of the Ni-56 distribution is proposed. H-alpha polarization profiles on days 71 and 100 are reproduced fairly well by the scattering of the photospheric radiation on two clouds of enhanced hydrogen ionization and excitation. These clouds are, presumably, associated with two Ni-56 clumps (slow- and fast-moving in the far hemisphere. Positional angles of slow- and fast-moving clumps of Ni-56 are about 20 deg (200 deg) and about 100 deg (280 deg), respectively, and do not reveal any clear association with the rotation axis of the presupernova.
