Analytical solutions of the equations of balance of the electron concentration in the ionosphere D-region are derived with a multiscale, time-dependent expansion for pulsed and periodic changes in the ratio of ion formation under the action of streams of precipitating high-energy particles. The possible influence of disturbances of the temperature of the neutrals is computed. The space-time structure of the ionosphere disturbances produced is discussed on the basis of model representations.
