A technique for small signal modeling of switched power processors is applied to a Cuk dc/dc converter in the incremental voltage control mode (delta V mode). The vector of the electric charges and magnetic fluxes is assumed to be the state vector. Relevant transition matrix A, input matrix B and output matric C are derived. According to the state space description in Z transform, the converter is characterized, with its external loop open. Theoretical versus experimental results are compared and good compliance is found between the two.
